My Story
I have been a life-long dieter. Prior to my 50th birthday I decided I needed the next chapter to be different. I am a mother of 4 and a military spouse, so taking time for me to really dig into anything is quite the sacrifice. Counting macros was amazing! I was able to lose 50 lbs and gain a whole new level of fitness. But there were pieces that I was missing. How was I going to maintain my weight and fitness and further - would I have to "count" and "log" forever? Time and again I saw others "finishing" and regaining the weight. As I began to educate myself, I realized that part of what was missing was the habits around food - things we'd always have to do to live well. Health and nutrition maturity, if you will. Another piece was mindset. Yes, weight loss breeds more confidence - but folks weren't diving into the thoughts and beliefs that kept them in this cycle.
But what if you were able to believe differently? I love showing people a different way. I also love educating and teaching my members about the whys behind all things wellness. Not everyone wants to lose weight, but everyone DOES want to live better and that's what I aim to help them with.
